You are close, but not quite. Your are correct with your example regarding the root level domain.

In your example using http://www.whatever.com/forum, the forum is simply a folder or area within the main domain and functions within the main domain.

However, a sub domain would be http://www.subdomain.whatever.com and is set up as an entirely different set of files that work independently from the main domain of whatever.com.

To answer directly, no.
Visit TLC, subject Domain Names for more information about registrars.

I have noticed some of the registrars list the number of "subdomains" available. Is a subdomain for example like www.whatever.com/forum whereas the root domain would be just www.whatever.com or are subdomains different?

With domain name registrars, do you you have to use the registrar you register the domain name with to host your website?

To change your site’s title go to your WP-admin area:
Dashboard > Settings > General > Look for Blog Title and type in the change.

You can also visit our TLC subjects for more WordPress education material.

I would suggest adding all your text first and the pics last.

Another option might be to import your products via CSV file. There is some information on this under Products > Settings > Import.

Join the plugin forum and read and post questions pertaining to your particular issues.

Have you tried having all the settings reflect the same sizes instead of some with different settings? Like, have all the heights the same and all the widths the same?

Unfortunately, being I do not have a lot of experience with this particular plugin, it is likely you may know more about it than I do. Such is the learning curve of each of the thousands of available WP plugins.

You could look for a different plugin or not use a plugin and manipulate the WP pages and posts to build your own. This is not an option I would consider if you have put a lot of time learning in to it or if there are extra expenses you have invested in the add-ons for it.

Certainly consider joining the plugin forum and read and post questions pertaining to your particular issues.

When we’re working with the products pages, it is taking a long time between the time we click update, until the page is loaded. Is there a way to work on those pages offline and doing some big update at one time?

What we’ve noticed in working with the thumbnails is that we can adjust the initial product thumbnails, but there’s only 1 setting for the thumbnails within the gallery. So, what happens is that because the cards go both horizontal and vertical, we just can’t get them to “fit”. I clicked around for awhile looking for an answer but couldn’t find one.

If you look at the Step prayer pictures, right now they are set up to show up okay in the gallery. But if you look at the ones under Quips and Quotes — those are cards with a side fold and those thumbnails don’t look good in the gallery.
